Republic Auto maintenance carousel
A six slide car care carousel: one cover and five single-idea tip slides in navy and gold.
Overview.
This carousel gives drivers something useful: a cover and five tips, each on its own slide.
The cover promises tips on maintenance. Every slide after it keeps one icon, one instruction and the logo.
What was made.
- Cover slide with photography
- Five tip slides with custom icons
The work.
Design choices.
- The cover uses a dark saloon car, a diagonal navy panel and a gold stripe. The headline is white with the number picked out in gold.
- The tip slides drop the photograph and use a flat deep blue, so the swipe feels like moving from promise to content.
- Each tip has one gold icon and a headline: oil filter, tyre pressure, gear shifting, paint protection and lighter loads.
- Type is a heavy geometric sans in white, centred, with the same size on every slide so the reader never has to adjust.
- The logo stays in the top right of every slide.
A detail to check.
The cover says four tips and the carousel contains five tip slides. One of the two should change before the carousel is reused.
Delivery.
